Ford PATS performed parameter reset for new PCM now 10min wait loops..

     Hello all,
    I using Autel MK808.. on 2010 Ford Mustang with v6. PCM suppler suggested performing parameter reset, which performed well but now with both new and old PCM I am unable to get back in to PATS 10 min wait security validation screen, 10 min wait keeps looping.. DTC is showing P1260... any idea on how to get back in to PATS program to reprogram keys?

     Try a KAM (keep alive memory) reset. Are there any codes in the instrument cluster? Did you program the new PCM? Look for a perameter reset in the instrument cluster and PCM. Try both if they are both available in the scan tool. If you have codes in the cluster, fix those first.

    Thank you Kevin for your reply, I did clear KAM and I purchased PCM from one of online remanufactures with new program update and VIN reflash. I’ll recheck IC for any new codes.. again thank you.
